It would depend on the condition of the fur and the skin under it ... if it'sbrittle and balding, very low.

If it's miraculaously survived with supple skins and intact fur, take it ti a furriewr. It might make some excellent collars.

The coat is in excellent condition. It has a beautiful lining, no tears or raveling, and the fur is still intact and little to no brittleness. No baldness at all. The gloves are a bit stiff. The community theater has borrowed it a few times for plays, but I probably won't let them borrow it again. They keep it for several weeks, and you never know if they take good care of it or not. Thought of having teddy bears made for the grandkids, but last count we had 9 of them, and not enough fur to go around. Not sure really what to do with it. Have no idea of it's worth.

Have it appraised by someone who is familar with old clothing and historical pieces. I doubt it has much monetary value as a fur coat, but it could have historical significance. Find out as much as you can about the garment before you cut it up. A museum might be interesrted in it. (Antiques Road Show?) Can you find a photo of a person wearing the coat?
