Hi,
I have had this chair for a few years now, I bought it from an antiques/collectibles store and iv decided to take it right back and re upholster it. I noticed when I took the back cushion off it was a hay/straw stuffing.. This made me think it's quiet old and I now want to see if I can get a date/era of when it was made!
The carvings are not identical on each side of the chair and what looks like carving marks in the woodwork so I am pretty sure it is hand carved and is made of what looks like a light oak timber. Can anyone help me on anymore information ??
