Yes, but not sure which one it could be. There is one who paints New Mexico scenes, I don't know the location of this one.

Do any of the signatures match? I am not seeing Hurd in your signature.

In my second photo, I think the name Hurd is quite plain to see...

In any case, it's not very well done, and doesn't seem to be painted by an accomplished painter. The reason why I say that is because the sky tones are not reflected in the lake or the snow. Also the mountains look like they were stamped out in a factory. Is that a road? Amateurish.
Would you hang it on your wall? Not now, I'll bet.

Mike, so what I choose to hang on my wall should be based on YOUR assessment? You have some ego, which IS reflected in your post.

It's a daub only the artist's mother could love. But by all means display it proudly, because that will teach us a lesson.

I was pointing out some amateurish parts of the painting, and by doing so, maybe showing you that the painting is a dud not worthy of wall space. Seems I failed.
A little ego is a good thing...... Better than a thin skin.
