 o
depression glass? 1

I got a couple of etched glass plates that I like very much but I am not sure if they are depression glass or not.

Can anyone identify the pattern if this happens to be depression? I can only upload one photo so I will do another posting for the other plate.

That doesn't seem to be etched -- it looks like either cut or pressed glass. Is it clear or colored?

It looks like a glass plate of the depression era....but certainly not "depression glass"...much too fine.
It's a crystal plate...likely had matching goblets, wines and sherbets.
Perhaps replacements could find the name of the pattern for you?

Very pretty. Reminds me of some of the dessert plates that my mother received as wedding presents in 1935.

That's pretty much the time period....I have a stack in the top of a cupboard....somewhere in this house.......
