Need advice on this possible Asian wooden pillow

A friend of mine has what she was told is a Chinese teakwood pillow. We are not sure if this is so & if any one has any info or knows where we can locate info, would greatly appreciate. It is wooden, 8" high, the top is curved and from end to end is 6 1/2" wide, base is 8 1/2" diameter.
