Abnormal tea set

Can anyone identify this tea set. Its oblong shaped and has a salt and pepper shaker with it. Its not bone china, and it has no markings other than the aesthetic design you see in the picture. Nothing on the bottom or inside. My mother asked me to find out what I could because it was given to her and she's not so swell on a CPU. I don't think it's expensive or rare but I'd still like to help her out. Any help is appreciated.
