| Hello all,
I am new to this forum, and new to the world of buying furniture that isn't from target or ikea :) I was hoping I could find some advice on here. I found a dresser/armoir on craigslist that I really like. The link is attached (I hope). The woman is asking $400.00 for it, which seems a little steep to me. I did some research and I believe this is what they call a chifferobe and was probably manufactured sometime in the 1920's or 30's. Online I'm finding ranging anywhere from $50 bucks to $800. I sent the lady an email saying I was interested if she could drop the price to 2-300 range. Now I'm thinking even that may be a bit much. She doesn't have any other information beside the fact that it belonged to her grandmother. Any ideas on what a fair price would be? Thanks, Catherine http://lexington.craigslist.org/atq/3169507825.html
