Does anybody know anything about this basket like dome?

It has thin pieces of wood almost basket like. The bottom has small wood pins that pull out so that the dome can be removed.
Thanks in advance for your help!

It's used to protect glass or ceramic jugs during shipping ... keeps them from clinking together and chipping.

Ogoopogo.....I found this this at a estate sell. It's awesome, isn't it?! I would consider selling it for the right price. Please email with a offer if you interested.
