Never used that firm....seems expensive to me....but then all replating seems expensive.
I have my grandmother's ladle that needs replating...it'll cost at this place $40....I bought a sterling gravy ladle 2 years for $50....which will never need replating.

I may try them for a old plated derby silver toothpick holder. Not too bad for around $58.

I have wanted to try them for years. I have an old (40yrs) silverplate gallery tray that my mother had on a small side table. It fits perfectly, but is in desperate need of replating. Maybe I will go ahead and try these folks. I will let you know if I do.

I've used them before and they've done an excellent job.

Any kind of replating is not cheap. I had 7 small desk drawer pulls replated with brass (plus coated to keep from tarnishing) and it was a little over $100 30 something years ago. It was at a place local so I knew they did good work.

It looks to be a dangerous, messy, toxic procedure so they get kudos from me for that job.
