| I have an antique platform rocking chair. I've searched and searched the web for one like it in an effort to identify it. It has no markings of manufacture, no tags, no labels. I do not know what type of wood it is, nor the finish. (saw that this helps identify)
The chair has a single coil spring on each side, but not the large visible kind. I've seen the platform on other rockers described as Victorian Eastlake (has castor wheels) but the rest of the chair is not ornate enough it seems. What is this? Many thanks for answers :) |

| It's of the Eastlake style....most likely walnut...dates from around the turn of the century....give or take 10 or so years. |
