Information on this vase?

Does anyone have any information they could give me about this vase? I purchased it at an estate sale recently and it is such high quality that I think it may be of value. It is heavy...made of pottery I think. The craftsmanship is done so well it almost appears to be made of wood. It measures 13" tall and is 4" tall at the top. Thanks so much for your help!
