Hello, recently I found this casserole dish and bought it because I thought it was pretty. However, now that I'm trying to research it I hit one dead end after another. I can find no reference to the company "Old Colony Silversmiths" except for those that are misinformed. Also, I'm not sure if the 992 stamp on the bottom is a style number or if it's telling me that it is 99.2% silver. I have contacted Reed & Barton (because I read that somehow the companies were connected) and hit another dead end. I tried a magnet test and the magnet did not stick. Although I don't see how this test is going to tell me anything. Please help!
