Hi Guys

I bought this bowl from a thrift store a while back and have tried everything in my means to get information on it. The first two characters on the bottom say "dai-mon" or "the great gate/ the big gate". The other two characters are hard to make out and just about every Japanese person I have asked cannot translate the other two characters. I believe that it may be from the Edo period but cannot be sure. Any information would be helpful and thanks in advance!
