I bought this and cant find anything about it. The table says nothing on the bottom but the chairs do have a stamp that says "4940-428 V.H. 672" Not sure what that means but all the chairs have this stamp. Not sure its even antique but can someone tell me something about it?

It's run of the mill pine trestle table and chairs....likely about 1970 to 80....Good sturdy stuff, but not antique nor fine furniture. Linda C

That style was also much made in maple, and I think back as far as the 40s or so. But this does look like pine. The table is pretty cool, but I don't like that style of chair at all; I think they are horrendously uncomfortable, and they take up an inordinate amount of space. Karin L
