Limited Edition recliner

OK, I'm a newbie to this forum, but I saw a piece of furniture not long ago that was intriguing. It was a recliner made by M. F. Fisher and the brass "Z" shaped outer frame (arm rest and floor piece) had a label of "243 of 500" on it. I have looked on the net for information about Fisher, but have come up with a blank. Any information out there? Thanks for any help.

Can you post a picture? A limited edition recliner seems odd.
