Vintage Cadoro Necklace Value?

Hi again,
I have a vintage Cadoro necklace that i have no idea what its value may be. There are so few pieces of this size around to help valuate it. The total size of the pendant is 9 1/2" X 4". the Chain length measures 20". I believe the white beads may be resin, the green beads are glass. There is some wear of the gold tone in various places and a very thin crack on one of the loops.

Here is a link that might be useful: photobucket pic of pendant

RE: Vintage Cadoro Necklace Value?

As you likely already know, the Cadoro jewelry company was in operation from the 1950's to the 1970's - a fairly short time in comparison to other jewelry manufacturers that have been around for decades.
The prices tend to be all over the map from $200 for a simple black bakelite necklace to $450 for a (rather ugly) cabochon encrusted sea creature.
The pins made by Cadoro seem to be more prolific and popular than the necklaces; I would assume your necklace has value if for no other reason than this company doesn't exist anymore and one of the partners passed on in the 1960's.
You might want to consider discussing your necklace with an expert on vintage jewelry before you list it for sale anywhere.
It is an interesting piece, no doubt about that.
