If the signatures can be authenticated, this could be a valuable album. If the leatherette case is in relatively good shape, it may be worth your while to have it appraised by someone who specalizes in the entertainment field.

Glenn Miller enlisted in the Army and after basic training was appointed Captain in the Army Special Corp. He organized the Army Airforce band, gave over 800 performaces or which 300 were personal appearances. On Dec. 15, 1944 his band left on a tour of Europe. Tragically, the transport in which Miller was a passenger dissapperaed over the English Channel and was never recovered.

If the "Antiques Road Show" will be in your area, do take it there.

I suggest that you contact PBS' "History Dectectives" to see if they would authenticate the signatures. In the process, they may copy the music from the record to a modern format. They look for this kind of material for their show.
