| That's odd, I thought I posted to this thread already. I'm prety sure the "unknown desk set" item is a blotter- you roll it in one direction across newly written ink pen writing to blot up any excess ink and prevent smearing. |

| Oh! That makes sense, Colleen, although I've never heard of it. In fact, there is some backward-written ink on the bottom of it, so that would explain it. Thank you! |
