| Thanks for replying. The guy from Craigslist wants $100 for each. Good deal? |

| Can anyone give me some tips on what details to look for on a windsor chair (fan-back) in order to estimate its age/authenticity? Thanks |
| No nails....the spiles are put into the seat with wedges in the end of the rods.....the seat is beautifully and carefully formed to "fanny" shape....a good rake to the legs, wear on the center rung where your feet might go... But.....even if they aren't 200 years old....they are still great chairs!!! Ask him if he can take $150 for both....but pay $200 if he won't. |
| Likely they are repros... But.....look at what a good repro costs!!! Run...don't walk!! Great deal! |
