Need info on Voos pre-war silverware

Posted by lydia1959 (My Page) on

The box reads voos qualitats bestecke. It is a full set of silver (minus 1 teaspoon) with a few serving pieces. Heavy floral handles.

My uncle says he bought this in Germany when he was in the war? He is 81 now.

I have pictures, but no way to upload them on my computer.

TIA

What does it say on the back of a piece of the silver?

I didn't even think of writing it down, but I was able to zoom in on one of the photos enough to see it says Fritz Voos 20 Lingen.

That should be solingen, not 20 Lingen. Probably was made between World War II and the Korean War. I still haven't found out anything about this set... anybody??

Why not send a photo to Replacements? If you already know the manufacturer, you're just looking to ID the pattern, right?

I've linked to a complete auction for a smaller amount of the flatware on Ebay uk.
