Could anyone help me date this soup tureen by Villeroy & Boch? I've looked several places on line but cannot find much reference to a V&B mark that spells Luxemburg without the 'o'(Luxembourg). |

| I couldn't find any more than a refrence that V and B was made in a factory in Luxembourg. Luxemburg is the German spelling. Nor could I find anything about anything resembling that mark. We do know that Mettlach bought up a lot of potteries in the area over times...I can only guess that your covered dish was made by one of those potteries. From the style I would guess it's early 20th century. Linda C |
