I've been searching for years...

...for some identification to this wee bud vase.
Is it Japanese or Chinese?
Pale blue glaze over porcelain with only two characters on the bottom.
Its a family heirloom so I'm not really that concerned about value; Gramma cautioned care in its handling as "its traveled a long way". she always used to say.
Any help? (click on the image for a larger view)

Thanks muchly.

Have you looked at the site below?
My gut is that it's chinese, 1900 or 10 years either way.

But look at that site and perhaps even email them a picture.
I'll bet it's great with a few chrysanthemums.

Thank you Ms C.
Gotheborg charges for their ID services, so i'll use them as a last resort.
I've scoured all the marks on there and cannot find either of these two on there.

Well that's new!!!
Try to find a dealer in chinese porcelains and see if they would give you their opinion for free.
Very likely you won't find that exact mark....but rather find an opinion from the color and style of the piece and the sort of a 2 figure mark.
