| Hi, I got this Safi decorative plate recently and have searched all over the internet for something similar. Haven't found a thing. The glaze is crackle and the silvery parts are bound together with lead. The silvery parts look like they might be pounded nickel. No idea. Does anyone have any idea what this is and what it may be worth? Thanks.

| Looks like a piece of decorative pottery made in Safi. I would guess novini or nowini is the artist or the company....try googling Safi pottery...or moroccan pottery. |

| Thanks for the reply, but i tried that already. Safi is known as the capital of pottery in Morocco. Doesn't narrow it down much since so much still comes from there. You can still buy it new. Just nothing like the plate/bowl I have anywhere. Thank you, though. |

| Thank you. A bowl similar to mine is in that photo, so i'm sure they're recent and not antique. |
