Hello
I was wondering if anyone could help with some information on these cute plates I purchased over the weekend. My guess is that they are early transferware but I can't find any information on their potter and the approximate time when they were made. I also have a couple of other questions on them. The color of the pattern and bottom mark is a plum color - not blue. Is it possible it was blue and changed color over time due to the condition of the glazing? I also noticed a set of 3 little dots on the front of each plate, and 3 sets of 3 dots on the back. The dots appear to go through the glazing. Could that have been from the plate being positioned on top of something during the firing/glazing process? I will detail out the photos below.
