Help with identifying/pricing solid wood marble top table

Hey all, we were given this table by my in laws and can't use it in our new house. Were thinking of either putting on Craigslist or taking to a consignment type place. But I know nothing about it, can anybody help? And any thoughts on a fair price?

Interesting table. The top may be man made material, same stuff as used for counter tops.

It has interesting legs. The one leg that I can see reminds me of a gargoyle.

Are you able to see the underside of the stone? Check to see if it says 'Italian Marble.'

If you want to put in on Craigslist, I'd suggest searching for similar tables, to see what price your market will support. Use the 'has image/grid view' for easier searching.

Here's a similar table, listed in a metro area near me.

Here is a link that might be useful: marble table search, columbus, oh

Thanks for the responses. I have looked all over the table looking for some sort of identifying information, but no luck. Maybe I would do best by taking to an antique store that does consignment where they may be able to provide some insite into the table or pricing advice.

I really love the table, I am trying to think of a place I could put it to allow me to keep it!

That would be my advice. When in doubt, keep it in case one of your kids wants it some day. So what if they're only toddlers? :)
