| Can anyone give me information on a sword we found when we were cleaning out my great aunts place? The sword has 1916, SA, US and 646119 on it. It has a sheath which looks like old leather.

| Look at the link below. Does this fit the description of your sword-saber? This example is a calvary sword made in the years of 1913 through 1918 and is known as a "Patton" sword. If this fits your sword, it may have belonged to a relative (of yours) who was in a Calvary unit during WW1. |
