Portmeirion china

| Does anyone know the significance of the pottery mark on the underside of the pieces? Some have a small green circle and some have a larger orange circle. Does a particular mark make some pieces more desirable to collectors? |

Mona, you can get even more information on either www.portmeirion.tv, an older collectors site which gives information on older motifs and backstamps, you could also see www.james-antique.com, with very much information on portmeirion motifs and backstamps, esp botanic garden, pomona and birds of britain. good luck, Lia |
