Nice piece. The veneer on the main frontpiece is well matched. The 4 drawers also have veneers that match the theme.

If you resell it for what you paid - you had a rent-free dresser for a while.

Looks 1930s - early 1950s. Very pretty for the right person.

It all depends on your local market. In an area where traditional styles are popular, you will get more than you would where modern and rustic are popular.

Check Craigslist and local thrift stores to see what vintage dressers are selling for. For me, the cedar linings would be a bad thing - I hate the smell. Some people like it.

Thanks, I paid $200 and was thinking I could get $400 without too much effort. I have seen similar in high overhead boutique shops for $700.
