Here is a picture of the bottom. Any opinions are welcome.

Is it light weight or very heavy? I had a large round piece yrs ago(probably 18 in across) very heavy but no one could tell me what it was made of, it was that whitish/yellow so might be hard to find out what it is. It's very interesting tho, lot of detail!

It is heavy and definitely stone. A friend suggested it might be alabaster. Here is a close up of the dragon lid. It seems to be a light tan color. I think the yellow envelope I used as a backdrop makes it look more yellow than it is.

Alabaster will fizz if you put vinegar in an inconspicuous spot.

Find out what it can scratch to narrow it down.

A mineralolgy professor could probably ID the stone.

But $9.99 !!!! I'm having an envy attack, because it's TOTALLY PRETTY!
