Looking for information on this lamp/lantern

Hi,

This is my first post on the forum and I am hoping someone will be able to help! My husband and I found this piece at a yard sale and are interested in learning more about it (age, style, etc) I have tried googling for more information but it's tough to come up with a good description... any help is greatly appreciated!!

It's slag glass. Tend to see more slag glass lamps than lanterns. But it's the term for them that would get you started on any investigating.

"Slag" is a by-product of smelting ore - it could be added to molten glass to create the streaks.

Adding "panel slag lantern or lamp" to your search might help as well. C1920's-1930's with the criss cross spandrals. Nice. Looks like the top could be copper? Is there a canopy at the top? mfrog
