Why antique is consider expensive? What makes this object expensive?

Antiques are usually better made from better quality materials than stuff of today, and as Linda says, are rare.

They also don't lose their value the minute you buy them, as new items do. Use them for a few years and as long as you take care of them, you'll probably be able to sell them for more than you paid.
