I'd guess it as Edwardian, judging by the style of the back, and the turned legs with no flare. Circa 1910ish. Those 'wheels' are called casters. Looks reupholstered and somebody did a good job.

The OP is posting from the UK. Look at the 2d pic. Is the pic distorted or is the back really that slanting?
If the pic is accurate there may have been a special use for that chair. I've seen alot of Eastlake side chairs but never one with a back like that, perhaps something unique to the English?

It's a "nursing chair" - The slant back let the mother lean back comfortably while nursing a baby.
