Lladro Signature Identification

Posted by dadepfan (My Page) on

Hello everyone.

I have a large Lladro figuring (number 6921) which has a signature and date (09-05-02) written in black on the bottom. I was told the signature was that of one of the Lladro Brothers, but it does not exactly match any of the signatures I have seen, but it is close.

Can anyone identify the signature in the attached photo?

RE: Lladro Signature Identification

One of the more prolific sculptors for Lladro is Juan Ignacio Aliena and he was active during that time frame.

However, that looks like its trying to be Juan Lladro's signature but after googling it...there are a million different signatures which means maybe fakes? Not sure.
