Decorative window sash painting

Hi, I am new to this forum and I am looking for some group, club, or individual that takes old window sashes and decorates the panes. I have some old sashes that I need to dispose of and if they are of use, I do not want to haul them to the dump.

My guess is that the sashes date back to the 30's and since 1959 they have been in a shed and now I need the room. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I live in Blythewood, SC and you may contact me by e-mail. herbwofford@gmail.com

Thank you,

Herb

Second Chance, Inc is a non-profit which takes in sashes, shutters, doors, mantels, from remodeling projects or demolitions. You get a tax credit in return. While they are located in Baltimore, you likely have something similar in SC.

Here is a link that might be useful: Second Chance, Baltimore

Maybe try posting on Craig's List? I have seen a few artists at art fairs doing this, but I don't know them personally. .
