Baker furniture is fine quality furniture....not antique. What do you want? Are you looking for a source for used Baker bedroom set? Good luck....trying to find a piece of used furniture in a particular style from 40 years will indeed be difficult. I suggest you contact a Baker Furniture dealer.

Thanks Linda! I know the set I'm considering isn't a antique but certainly is older. Not being from the area ( California) I'm trying to find some info on them. The sales person said that they aren't in business anymore. I'm trying to find some sort of a catalog that would show their styles & if they were really a California mfg.

Baker Brothers or Barker Brothers? Barker Brothers was a local LA furniture chain. I bought a sofa from them in 1985 that's still going strong.

Baker Bros was the decal in the drawer. I understand it's a company that was in business until the 80's?? All I have been able to determine that it's a California Company. Remember I'm from out of state.

After I posted my answer, I didn't come back and didn't see the other responses--weird lag in between. So if you've got a sticker in the drawer, I guess it's Baker Brothers. There's a Baker Bros. in Watsonville. http://www.yelp.com/biz/baker-bros-furniture-watsonville Does a sticker mean a manufacturer or can it mean a retailer?
