How old is this metal lace flower?? really old, or just old?

I really need some help if anyone can! I have an antique bit of ornamentation that is made of metal threads, and is pretty large--about 7' wide. I have no idea how old it is, just that it is made with 'goldwork', and what appears to be silk, metal, and wool. Any ideas?

Here is a link that might be useful: gold flower

Looks like 1900 to possibly 1920 to me....perhaps it adorned a hat?
Amazing piece.....needs to be framed!

I've never seen anything like it! Beautiful piece. Should be framed & hung on the wall to enjoy!

hmm - I'm bad with matching up the styles to the dates - but at a glance? it's old enough, and the work is detailed enough, to interest the staff at Lacis.com, who are the heavy in to the old flower work : )
