I have 2 of these I am just interested in any info on them at all...There are no markings on them anywhere. These were my grandmother's.. Came with a set of mirror and hair brush and they all have these little blue birds on them.. Can't find them anywhere else, just curious to see what year they may been from etc...

One would contain loose powder for her face, the other may have help bobby pins or cotton balls or the powder puff for the face powder.

Look Japanese to me as I have child's tea set with similar scroll work & coloring. Think 1 container could also have been used as "hair receiver" unless that jar was larger. They made jewelry with their hair quite often. May have been couple of more pieces to the set. An atomizer or cologne bottle would be other items that may have been with the set. Or a tray in same pattern glass as the containers.
