| DH brought this back from Japan in the mid 60's. It appears to be hand embroidered, at least in part, and I'm guessing it's done in silk? I realize there is no monetary value, but I do like it, and was wondering about the framing. Do you think the frame is original? Should it be under glass, perhaps with matting or spacers to keep the glass from touching the threads? Thanks for your opinions. j |

| Under glass, with matting, will protect the thread, but you lose the silky effect. Frame is probably original - it's a pretty picture with sentimental value to you. |
