antique russian wine jug? crimean war time

i have this old jug , its been mentioned its from the crimean war , and is a russian wine jug

can anyone identify it or suggest where online might help?

Well...I googled around and found another site where you had posted more pictures.
It's redware...and at least 100 years old it appears.
Rough and quite crude clay judging by the areas it seems to have chipped away.
But I can find nothing that would suggest it's Russian? What makes you say that?
Russian wine jugs were silver or finely made stoneware....but of course nothing says some potter couldn't have made a very crude and rough jug.

In short...I can't tell you much...but maybe the people at the link below can.
