Hi. We just purchased a home with two chandeliers. I was wondering if anyone can give me any information on how to assess the value.

I'll take more pics tomorrow during the day.

Thank you for your help!

Here's the second one.

Wow. Very pretty. Commenting so your posts will bump up and maybe someone can help. You might also cross-post to home decorating-there are some knowledgeable folks over there.

RE: Chandeliers.

Thanks for responding. Do I just start a new thread there or is there a way to edit this to part there? Thanks for your help!

If you're posting to a different forum, start a new thread there. Good luck!

RE: Chandeliers.

When was the home built? A close up of some of the metalwork would help, such as where the prisms connect to the frame. Are you looking for what you could sell them for?
Based on the photo, the wedding cake chandelier (second one) looks to be no more than 40 years old. These classic styles have never gone out of production.
