This was my grandfather's and after he passed my mom give it to me. It's quite small, maybe 3" tall. I can't quite make out the mark on the back, maybe one of you can? Thanks!

When a Mommy dog and a Daddy dog love each other a whole lot... I'm thinking it was a premium given away with some product. It's not very distinguished. Casey

Try getting an etching of the mark. Tape a piece of tissue paper over the mark and rub it with a soft lead pencil. Hopefully the mark will pop out more and allow you to read it.

Distinguished or not, it would have a spot on my shelf :-) It's very cute. Have you tried checking ebay for china dogs? KarinL
