Anyone familiar with 'B C F Co' furniture ?

I inherited a tall hall tree made out of oak, with a mirror at the top, and lovely carving. It has a mark stamped on the back which reads "B C F Co". When I googled it, the only thing I could find is "British and Continental Furniture Co." ads dating from 1899. No indication of what this company was, when it existed, or who bought it, if anyone - or even if it ever made hall trees. The only thing I know for sure is that my family acquired it no later than the 1940's, in the South.

I'm trying to date and place the origin of the piece. I am not interested in resale value, as I wouldn't part with it for the world.
