Hi folks, new to forum and need your help. A piece of furniture a friend was transporting flew out of his pickup on the expressway and was destroyed. I had the drawers and removed the handles and locks.

The only information I can find says that the handles are "chippendale" style as was the erstwhile desk; my problem is that the back of the handles are all marked "1770" as shown in the pictures, which I hope to upload from
