Dating vintage marble lamp

I just posted on the decorating forum, asking about shades to go with an antique/vintage marble lamp I bought. But I would also like to know more about it, such as it's probable age. It's all white marble, and beautifully carved. Only one small chip, which someone took the time to repair. It is definitely marble, no questions about it. It is translucent and shows subtle veining.

I saw no markings on the lamp, but "Stiffel" on the shade it came with, which I'm guessing is original. Thanks for your help. Here is my thread:

Great lamp I think it is alabaster.
