I am hoping to be able to identify the maker and pattern. The mark on the bottom of this piece and the others appear to be (from left to right): -- a king with a crown in a shield -- a man in profile one arm raised to the right in a oval (maybe heralding) --a knight in profile facing right in a square with a slight point on the bottom --and a lion with an "L" in a shield over it in a slightly squared oval. The words silver on copper are under the symbol. The top of the sugar dish, tea pot and coffee pot each have a design with leaves and pears (or berries). Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

It looks like a fig and leaf design to me. Could we see a picture of the hallmarks? Here's a link to some British hallmarks.

It's silverplate on copper. The marks seem to be sort of imitation British hallmarks. Here's a link to British silverplate hallmarks, so you can compare. It could have been made almost anywhere ... except Britain, unless you can find a genuine matching hallmark.
