Probably the bags were recycled form aonther item.

They would be marked with Danish sterling marks (all sterling brought into thge USA has ot be marked with origin), and undoubtedly the Jensen marks too. What marks does it have?

The bottoms read:

B & M
Sterling
425
Reproduction
Washington

The last might be G. Washington; it's slightly worn.

"B & M Sterling" has quite a few hits on google ... it's maybe the BALDWIN & MILLER company.

(many Baldwins in the silver business)
"Baldwin & Miller Inc. also manufactured in Newark, NJ. This company originated in the 1920's supplying retail stores with sterling and pewter holloware. "
also "Baldwin, Miller Co., Inc. (Indianapolis, Indiana) was established in 1883, also no relation to the other "Baldwins" At last check, they are still in business. Their mark is B.M.Co. or B&M."

"Reproduction" - perhaps the pieces were reproductions of some historic piece. They look like "sanders" to me, that were part of a writing set. You sprinkled sand onto wet ink to soak up the excess.

It's not Jensen, but it is sitll sterling.
