I bought a couple of matching lamps that I were told are from the 1950s. The attached photo isn't the best resolution, but it gives a good idea of what they look like.

They're metal (brass?) and wood, with actually very nice shades that are in good shape. The metal I'm not sure of, but it's quite distressed, especially the bases of the lamps. They're pretty heavy, with a round, thick metal plate inside the base.

Just curious about any information on these lamps.
