| Hello there,
I have this bronze piece that has a mark on it, and can not find anything about it anywhere. I was told the mark looks Babylonian, and I have searched for Babylonian marks and came up empty, although i did notice it does resemble the Babylonian god Marduk. But why would he be on what I was told was a tourist ashtray? Anyone have a clue?

| Because whoever cast it liked the design? Or adopted the image as a symbol for their company or workshop? Who can say, really? |
