Many sets of china are made witihout a teapot.

There was a lot of china during the 70's that was sold/given away at supermarkets, drugstores and the like....you saved your register slips and with say $50 of slips and $5 you got a place setting....
I suspect that the companies which made the china for these promotions were larger companies making a specialized pattern.
I have a set of 24 plates and mugs and salad bowls that are made in England which I boughtw ith the register slip and cash program.
My daughter has a set of "Liberty Blue" which were my mother's, that came from the register slip and $5 program
Some patterns were very popular....others not so much.
It's pretty stuff....keep looking, it'll show up!

Ther are ,that I know of , 2 differnt coffee cups,crean and sugur with a plate,regular tea cup,2 differnt candy dishs ,butter plates cake plate a lunchen plate or some times called a tennis plate that is about 8 inches across and comes with a tea cup. and also a 6 inch plate.DOG WOOD TREE patern is similar .it has the same dog wood tree but the dishs are not th same shapes.I also am looking for the same things but I am not having much luck.there may be other dishs that I do not know of ,Tea pot etc.Please get back to me. I know .that at one time they were sold in Jewelrey stores.
