| It looks a lot like Cambridge Glass, Caprice pattern in crystal & colors 1940's & early 1950's but the bottoms of bowls aren't shown so possible another maker. Some items were reproduced also. |

| It's not Caprice...but it does have some of the same feel. As far as I know Caprice was never reproduced, but it was produced in a great variety of items and occasionally you will find a piece with etched decoration and I have seen a piece in milk glass. It's often referred to as a center bowl and I am sure that there were candlesticks to match. Linda C |

| Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era Revised 3rd edition by Gene Florence says on page 37 that most of repos had a dot on bottom but it was easy to file off. Gene said he got the info from Barbara Schaeffer of the "Glass Review'. Just letting folks know in case they collect it. I got taken a time or 2. Have a pink depression cake plate & I use it for cakes so I don't really care I always use a cake board so it is frosted to the glass so no one sees the plate except the edge,I liked the shape & I was decorating cakes at the time. |
